Pared-back but never boring, The Chunky Slide offers laidback luxury with its polished metal accents and slip-on, easy-wear nature. This double strap silhouette has been crafted in Italy from premium abrasivato leather and is set on a cushy memory-foam padded footbed for maximum comfort and lightweight rubber sole for grip. Take these summer-ready slides into the new season by pairing them with tailored pants or styling them with socks.

    Super cool shoes - I love the style and the insole is well cushioned. Sadly, they are very painful to wear as they chafe the bridge of my feet causing irritation, blisters and sores.

    This isn’t a matter of wearing them in. The way they are constructed means each strap has a tag of hard shiny leather on the inside. It’s a narrow strip with sharp corners and it has no mercy. This is a huge design oversight, and particularly disappointing from a brand that aims to create “no-compromise staples”.

    After a month of wear, the bridge of my feet are lumpy calloused and red. I’m so sad because I love the style and Essēn’s mission, but these shoes are almost unwearable.

    So flattering and, honestly, more comfortable than I expected! They are a bit narrower than arizona birkenstocks so they might fit a bit smaller.. I would def recommend checking the size guide and maybe measuring your feet to get the right size.

    I had to size up mine but the costumer service was supper efficient and helpful!

    Always get compliments wearing these!

    So obsessed with these. Took a little time to break them in with some reasonable blistering along the way (nothing a bandaid won't fix) but now I absolutely love them!!! They look and feel so expensive. I've had many a compliments wearing them.

$1 removes 1.2kg of plastic and debris from the ocean Over 160 million tons of plastic is produced each year to create single-use disposable items and packaging. With no established system to close the loop, this has led to over 70 years of accumulation of plastics in landfill (40%) and the environment (32%), with only 10% being recycled. Plastics end up in waterways and oceans, breaking down into ever smaller pieces called micro-plastics, well known for entering the food chain through the water, air and food that we consume. Seabin Smart Tech, similar to a rubbish bin X pool skimmer, removes floating plastics as small as 2mm, filtering 600,000L of water per day from oil and surface pollutants. Note: To ensure greatest impact, donations are sent to Seabin Foundation to support this and other related projects. This allows them to use their expertise to direct resources to be as effective as possible.

$50 plants enough trees and shrubs to store 1 tonne of carbon dioxide Since European settlement, over 90 million hectares of land across Australia has been cleared, threatening species and the productivity of farmlands. Climate change will only exacerbate the impact with reduced rainfall, increased temperatures, droughts and more frequent extreme weather events. Greening Australia aims to restore 330,000 hectares of native trees across Australia by 2030. Drawing on the expert input of Traditional Owners, scientists and local land managers, we will plant 500 million trees and shrubs to store carbon, create quality habitat for native wildlife, and restore degraded farmland. These 500 million trees and shrubs will absorb over 1.3 million tonnes of carbon dioxide per year by 2030, and reduce atmospheric carbon pollution. This is one of the world’s largest and most ambitious ecological restoration programs. Note: To ensure greatest impact, donations are sent to Greening Australia to support this and other related projects. This allows them to use their expertise to direct resources to be as effective as possible.
