I love my boots, extremely happy to own them and appreciate the wonderful service

This is my 5th pair of shoes from Essen. I’ve had my eye on these boots for over a year. So glad I finally committed. The curved fit around the calf is just perfect. They are quite a thick/stiff leather, so take some wearing in. I went down a size as the description suggest and they fit well.

I have searched extensively for beautifully designed tall boots that embody all the aesthetics of a Riding Boot without feeling like you just came from a dressage event! The search ended when I discovered these stunning boots. I love that Essen is collaborating with partners whose skills and craftsmanship are time honoured and legendary. The leather is gorgeous – these boots are very high quality and I’ll no doubt reach for them as a staple in my wardrobe again and again. Extremely comfortable from first wear, I’m finding excuses to purchase The Riding Boot in Chocolate brown - Highly recommended.

I absolutely love these boots and wear them multiple times a week. They’ve shown resilience and the sole is very sturdy. Size does run slightly bigger but with thick socks in winter, they’re very comfortable.

The calf/shin part of the boot is also an nice ratio to the shoe size. The ankle area does bunch a little but I love that it gives a relaxed look.

Thanks Essen for also accommodating larger shoe sizes!

I had previously purchased the boots in black, and I liked them so much that I purchased the brown pair as well.

The leather is very soft and smooth. From the first wear they were very comfortable and no break-in was required. They also fit perfectly and I'm able to take them on and off without having to use the zip.

These boots are thoroughly recommended.
