I've always wanted a pair of white shoes that weren't sneakers. These fit the bill. They're chic, comfortable and so versatile. I am typically a 7 or 7.5 US. I took these in a size 37. They're perfect.

I bought these shoes in the cognac colour way thinking they would be amazing with all my clothes but when they arrived it just wasn't right, I got in contact and essen were spectacular as I had also noticed the size was a bit tight, they helped me return my shoes get a new size and colour and all so quickly and over the Christmas break to boot! I now have a white pair which I adore, from the first time I wore them, they had just right amount of space for my toes, the leather is buttery soft and they are so comfortable. I could recommend them more. To the point that I have already bought a second pair in black patent and plan another in red. If your having any second thoughts I highly suggest taking a leap with these gorgeous shoes they are absolutely worth every dollar.

I wish I had purchased these sooner - I considered them for a while as I wasn't sure how they were going to fit my feet, which are on the wide side, but I needn't have worried as the leather is so soft, and I took the recommendation to size up which worked out perfectly. No breaking-in is needed; they are comfortable from the first wear. You can see the high level of craftsmanship straight out of the box. So happy to have found them.

These silver foundation flats are my 2nd pair of flats from Essen. They are beautifully made and are so comfortable to wear even from the first time you put them on, I have worn with jeans and can be dressed up too, these absolutely will not be my last pair, please can we have a metallic pink pair. And as a side bar I sent the packaging back as requested.
