LEATHER

HARDWARE
The hardware has been plated in 18k gold, so treat the metal with care. To preserve its finish, wipe down if it gets wet, avoid contact with abrasive surfaces and handle clasps, zippers, and buckles gently.

I love the look of these loafers, and also the team at essen was amazing when I had to exchange for a custom size. These are really beautiful shoes the quality is top notch. I believe these are a 'buy it for life' loafer.
I removed one star because they are very, very difficult to break in for me. I'm using blister packs and moleskin on both feet to keep them from tearing up my the back if my foot.
